My Manifesto

This is all about the things, precepts, approaches, adages, and the like that I believe in and try to live by 

Know thyself.

There is a leader within each of us:

• Leaders are not necessarily (only) found in the (so-called) C-Suite
• You see a piece of garbage on the ground, you pick it up and throw it away - you have just exhibited leadership.
• Leaders look left, right, up and down and ask "are you okay."
• Leaders see potential and help to draw it out.
• Leaders (as per Simon Sinek) eat last.
• Leaders are not in charge. Leaders take care of/are responsible for those in their charge (based on Simon Sinek).

Give credit where credit is due.

Strive for excellence - perfection is an illusion.

Work hard. And smart.

Don't ask for my feedback if it is was never going to considered in the first place.

If you measure it, you better manage it - otherwise, just drop the measuring.

Introversion and extroversion are on a continuum:

• I tend towards introversion, I am not an "introvert."
• Labels are for products, drawers, baggies, catalogs. Things. Not so much for people.
